Tremella fuciformis (snow mushroom fruiting body extract):
Tremella mushroom belongs to the jelly fungus family and has many different names. In Chinese, it's called silver ear mushroom. It’s commonly referred to as snow fungus, snow mushroom and beauty mushroom, due to its long-standing use in China. Tremella is known for its ability to nourish, hydrate, moisturize and improve skin elasticity.
Tremella mushroom contains unique polysaccharide compounds that show remarkable water retaining properties. Tremella acts similarly to Hyaluronic Acid by pulling moisture to the skin but while Hyaluronic Acid holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, Tremella mushroom is said to hold 5 times more water.
Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi mushroom fruiting body extract):
The skin benefits of Reishi mushroom include reducing the appearance of skin irritation, puffiness, wrinkles and free radical damage, while also promoting cell turnover.
Inonotus obliquus (Chaga mushroom fruiting body extract):
Another mushroom with powerful antioxidant properties. Chaga is rich in superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase - two master endogenous antioxidants that help soothe stressed skin. The stressors can be environmental or physical, which can cause skin changes like deterioration, ageing, wrinkles, scarring and more. Chaga also contains Betulonic acid which aids in skin resurfacing and rejuvenation.
Calendula officinalis (flower extract):
This is an incredible skin-supporting herb that has antioxidant properties that are helpful for soothing our external barrier. Studies have shown it can promote collagen production and that its oil soluble sterols can help plump the skin and keep it thick.
Base Ingredients: Beeswax, Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Pumpkin seed oil, Sunflower seed oil, Olive oil, Camellia seed oil, Rosehip oil.
HOW TO USE
Scoop salve out of container with fingertips and rub hands/palms together to soften and release the oils. This also stimulates and activates the energy channels of the hands. Massage salve onto your body with love. We recommend this salve on:
